Your legal rights & privacy are very important to me. I respect the trust you’ve placed in me by using my tour guide services, and I will not take that for granted. That means I don’t ask for personal information unless I truly need it. I don’t share your personal information with anyone except to comply with the law. I don’t store personal information on my computer or any server, except your emails, which I delete every 5 years, and invoices, which I am legally obliged to keep for book keeping purposes for 10 years.
Who I Share Your Data With
I do not disclose potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information to anyone except service providers, such as drivers. I may be required to disclose an individual’s personal information in response to a lawful request by public authorities to meet national security or law enforcement requirements. I use the data you’ve sent me to prepare an offer for you. I use Google/Gmail to process all internal email and communication with my clients. The amount and type of information that I gather depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, I may ask guests who want to book my services to make deposit payment which means I can see basic information related to your bank account from which the deposit was made. I do not collect or store this information. I sometimes use email marketing to communicate with customers and potential customers from time to time. All email lists and campaigns are “opt-in” meaning I will not send you these sorts of emails unless you indicated that you wish to receive them on my website.
What Rights You Have Over Your Data
If you have been using my services or you have contacted me via contact form and/or email, you can request to see or download the data I have about you. Typically the data will be your email address, name and surname. For paying customers, this will also include payment history.
You can also request “to be forgotten” and I will erase any personally identifiable data I have about you. Of course, this excludes data I need for administrative or security purposes or if I am required by law to retain some of the data.
